Lake properties host differently than a house in town. People arrive Friday and leave Sunday, everyone is outside, and the cooking, eating, and sitting all happen in the same space. That changes what we design: more counter space, more seating, refrigeration that keeps drinks within reach, and shade that works from midday through the evening.
An outdoor kitchen with a grill, cold storage, and bar seating means the cook is not stuck inside while everyone else is on the water. A covered pavilion keeps the party going through an afternoon thunderstorm instead of ending it.
Pools, Pavilions, and Pool Houses
If you are adding a pool, we join the design team while it is still on paper and coordinate with your pool installer so the structures and the water are planned together. If the pool is already there, we design around it. Pool houses can include storage, changing space, a kitchenette, and a bathroom — the difference between guests tracking through the house and staying comfortably outside.
Decks and Porches for Sloped Lakefront Lots
Lakefront lots are rarely flat. We build multi-level decks that step a slope down toward the water, screened porches for evenings when the bugs arrive, and composite and PVC decking chosen to handle sun, moisture, and the traffic of wet feet.
