Step 1

First Consultation

We learn your vision and explore options.

1. Dream with Us 1st Consultation - 30 minute design call

When you choose Deck Creations for your outdoor living space project, we will work with you to determine your wants and needs and ensure we are a good fit for your home vision.

2. Explore Your Options 2nd Consultation - 1 hour

We will explore ideas, review your project site, and discuss project and design options. We will determine what resources you may need like landscape architects. We will then get to work on creating your 3D drawing for your project!

3. Draft Your Dream

Our own dream team will create the plans for your new outdoor living space, paying attention to the finest details in design and construction! Before we apply for permits, we will send the plans to you to review and make sure it is what you envisioned.

4. Permitting

We submit your drawings to the county/city you live in to start the permitting process. Depending on the county/city and kind of project you have chosen, it can take from 2-12 weeks to receive your permit. If your project does not require a permit, we can get you on the schedule right away!

5. Job Readiness

We will finalize your material selections, confirm your project layout, and review the timeline.

6. Preparation & Project Management

As we prepare to start the build process, all the materials will be delivered to your home and your utility lines will be marked. Before construction begins, one of our superintendents will meet with you and explain from start to finish all the steps of construction and answer any questions you may have.

7. Build

Throughout the construction process, you will receive weekly updates on your project, as well as updates from your project superintendent. Your superintendent will ensure your project is going according to plan and will keep everything on track.

8. Completion

We work hard to ensure that we are stay on schedule and working diligently to complete your project. Our team pays close attention to detail and we want to make sure that no stone is left unturned. Once your project is complete, we walk you through your new outdoor space and make sure everything is just how you envisioned it!
